Britney Spears Is Trying to Run Jennifer Lopez Out of Las Vegas

It looks like Planet Hollywood isn’t big enough for two of music’s most enduring pop stars.

Despite the Las Vegas hotel being well, basically a whole planet, Britney Spearsreportedly isn’t ready to share the stage with Jennifer Lopez.

Brit Brit, 34, is “irate” the American Idol judge, 46, is starting her own residency in the splashy L.V. resort come January 20, 2016, Life & Style says.

The blonde beauty has been rocking the stage during her Piece of Me show for almost exactly two years, and has recently signed an extension through 2017.

To continue her reign as queen of PH, the mom of two “is doing everything she can to make sure J.Lo is out of town within weeks,” an insider claims.

The key to her devious plan? Props. “She’s requested to have larger props built for her show,” the source continued, “so she can take over the props space J.Lo has just to make her feel unwelcome.”

Despite Jennifer’s alleged complaints over the apparently city-sized props, management has yet to do anything.

“For now Britney feel like she’s winning the war,” the pal said.

While certain divas would definitely pull these kinds of stunts, we’re not sure if Britney’s one of them. Plus, wouldn’t somewhere like Planet Hollywood have limitless backstage space?

But, maybewe truly do have a Sin City war on our hands!

Britney Spears Plans To Revamp 75 Percent Of Her Vegas Show During Her New Year Hiatus!

Britney Spears is gonna Work, B*tch on switching things up!

The pop princess will be going on a hiatus from her Las Vegas residency at the start of 2016, but instead of spending the off month relaxing, the blonde beauty is going to be working like Crazy!

According to the Las Vegas Sun, the 34-year-old is going to spend that time revamping her Piece Of Me show! In fact, the singer's going to be changing about 75% of the content!

The momma-of-two will be adding in new songs and dance routines, and those rehearsals have actually already started! We love that Brit is trying to keep things fresh!

And at the moment, the gorgeous gal is taking a brief break from her run in Sin City to make room for the Miss Universe pageant!

In fact, the performer won't be able to return to the stage until the 27th — not the 26th, like she originally planned — because it will take some time to break down the intense pageant set.

We can't wait to see what Britney's new changes will be, but it looks like we won't know until Valentine's Day 2016!

Adele’s ‘Hello’ makes Britney Spears ballet, friendship between the two blossoms

Britney Spears recently posted a video of her dancing to Adele’s record hit “Hello” on Instagram. Fans have gone gaga over the video and friendship between the two is being discussed the world over. Both have publicly expressed their admiration for each other. Hollywood may soon welcome them as new BFFs.

According to Huffington Post, Spears has again shown that she still has it in her. In the black and white video, Spears is seen doing a “fouette,” a fancy turn while Adele’s “Hello” plays.

“I could dance to this song a MILLION times...love you @adele!,” Spears has captioned the video.

Back in October Brit sensation Adele too had expressed her wish to visit Spears’ “Piece of Me” show in Vegas. After reading the article, Spears had sent a personal invitation to Adele via Twitter.

The video comes right after Adele made music history and a record breaking week. Her album “25” became this year’s top selling album in just one week in the US and sold more than three million copies. Previously, only “No Strings Attached” by *NSYNC held that record with a sale of 2.42 million copies, reports Vogue Australia.

According to ET Online, Adele’s “Hello” has had tremendous effects on various celebrities including Kate Hudson, Lena Dunham, Katy Perry, Russell Crowe, Sam Smith, One Republic and Ellen DeGeneres to name a few.

Aside from her hypnotising ballerina moves, Spears has been spending a lot of time with family and is consecutively working on her new album. The 33-year-old Spears looked extremely happy in a cute photograph with her sister Jamie Lynn, brother Bryan and children, all standing in front of a Christmas tree.

The fangirl moment by the “Toxic” singer has raised a lot of speculation as regards to the two coming together for music’s sake and that would be quite interesting.

Britney Spears brings The Fat Jew onstage for ‘Freakshow’ at Axis

It certainly wasn’t kosher, but it was a lot of fun!

During pop princess Britney Spears’ “Freakshow” segment of her residency show “Britney: Piece of Me” at Axis at Planet Hollywood over the weekend, social media phenomenon Josh “The Fat Jew” Ostrovsky was pulled from the audience to join her onstage.

He put on a vest showing off his trademark tummy, then crawled on all fours attached to a purple leash pulled by Britney. There were some four-letter words uttered by Britney as the Instagram comedy star with his wild hair waved his arms and showed off off-kilter dance moves.

Britney, in a red leather S&M-themed outfit, complimented him on his bizarre dance style and gave him an autographed purple T-shirt.

Meantime, Britney not only surprised a class of dance students at Fern Adair Conservatory for the Arts here in Las Vegas when she guest taught a choreographed routine to the music of Pharrell Williams’ hit “Happy,” but she also promised to return for a second hourlong class in the future.

“They were stunned,” said studio owner Fern. Britney posted several photographs of her leading the class and posing with the students on her Instagram, saying, “This was my favorite class.”

In another Instagram posting, Britney showed photographs of her 10-year-old son Sean Preston, who won an award for being “Best Encourager” at his California school. One featured Sean wearing a gray, print skateboard hoodie grinning as he clutched his trophy.

Jane the Virgin Costume Designer Rachel Sage Kunin Takes Us Behind-the-Scenes Of Last Night’s Britney Spears Episode

Last night, the endlessly impressive Jane the Virgin writers pulled off one of the more difficult moves in television—effectively incorporating a super-famous guest star. Britney Spears‘ visit to the Marbella was pitch-perfect, featuring both a fun dream-sequence dance number with Gina Rodriguez and a *hilarious* feud between her and Rogelio. They didn’t hold back on the Britney puns (“The situation had become toxic. This circus couldn’t go on. It was time to get to work, bitch.”) but they also did not hold back the story.

Britney fit flawlessly into the JTV world in every way, including of course, her fabulously over-the-top outfits. Don’t try to shop for them though—three out of four of Britney’s looks last night were custom designed and created by Jane the Virgin Costume Designer Rachel Sage Kunin. I caught up with her to ask about the Britney episode, dressing the Villanueva women, and Rachel’s own path to success (which happens to working on the infamous Lindsay Lohan Lifetime disaster, I Know Who Killed Me).

KM: I know Britney is a big fan of the show, so did she (or her team) come in with some ideas about what her style should be within the Jane the Virgin world?

RSK: I showed Britney and her team my sketches and they loved everything from the get go. Once we got into the fitting room together we had fun collaborating on the finishing touches.

The True Meaning of Britney Spears' 'Hit Me Baby, One More Time' Has Finally Been Revealed

It's been 17 years since Britney Spears broke onto the pop scene with her smash "Baby One More Time" and finally we get to know what the song's hook "Hit me baby, one more time" actually means. 

Turns out, it's not any form of physical abuse or kinky S&M or even a metaphor relating to those -- it's all one big misunderstanding. 

As Huffington Post points out, in John Seabrook's new book of pop music history,The Song Machine, he explains that the track's Swedish writers Max Martin and Rami Yacoub believed that "hit" was American slang for "call." And so the song about the heartache of a recent breakup turned to a hit with the public perhaps a bit confused but none the wiser. 

The song had originally been called "Hit Me Baby (One More Time)" but Spear's label Jive Records felt a bit uncomfortable about the suggestion of abuse and removed "Hit Me" from the title. 

Coincidentally, earlier this week another teenybopper mystery of that era was solved in another Huffington Post interview with *NSYNC's Joey Fatone explaining how the seminal boy band got the star in its name. Turns out it was at the suggestion of Israeli illusionist Uri Geller sparked from his interest in the power of symbolism. 

"We sat down and I wrote, on a napkin, NSYNC, and I drew a star in the cafe [in London's Covent Garden]." Geller said, "And I told them, if they place that star on their first CD, they're going to shoot up to No. 1." (Their debut wound up hitting No. 2 on the Billboard 200, but we'll call it close enough.)

Seems the only other mystery left is which backstreet that other boy band came from.

Britney Spears donates $120,000 to Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation

Planet Hollywood headliner Britney Spears invited children of Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation and NCCF President and CEO Jeffrey Gordon backstage Saturday night to present the foundation with a check for $120,000.

In the last year, $1 of every ticket purchased to Spears’ resident show “Britney: Piece of Me” at Axis at Planet Hollywood has been donated to NCCF as part of the award-winning singer-songwriter’s partnership with the organization.

NCCF is a local nonprofit providing services in Southern Nevada since 1993 whose goal is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children and their families.

Spears recently announced that she has extended “Britney: Piece of Me” at Axis for two more years through December 2017.

Since opening in December 2013, “Britney: Piece of Me” has received rave reviews from critics and fans, with the show being voted “Best Overall Show” and “Best Bachelorette Party” this year.
