Britney Spears working on new album

Britney Spears fans have a reason to rejoice. The pop star confirmed she’s working on a new album by posting photos of her and collaborators DJ Burns and songwriter Mischke Butler.
Spears teased her studio work in several Instagram pictures on Thursday.
“Making magic in the studio with @thisisburns4real yesterday!” Spears captioned the first picture of her and the English music producer.
The second photo had her posing with both Burns and Butler.
The collaborators also shared the pictures on their respective accounts.
“Hey @britneyspears I’m sorry I’m so tall, we made some though so it’s cool,” Burns captioned it.
Meanwhile, Butler wrote, “Re post! Always amazing working with @britneyspears & @thisisburns4real.”
Butler is a Grammy-nominated songwriter who has worked with Michael Jackson, Jennifer Lopez, The Pussycat Dolls, Jessica Simpson and Trey Songz.
As for Burns, he worked on Midnight Star’s Midas Touch with Ellie Goulding and remixed such singles as Lana Del Rey’s National Anthem, Iggy Azalea’s Work and Calvin Harris’ Blame.
The effort would be the first release since Spears’ eighth studio album, Britney Jean, which was released in December 2013.
She has also been working with producer DJ Mustard, singer Sam Bruno and songwriter Matthew Koma.

Britney Spears Working On New Album

The Toxic hitmaker last released a studio album in 2013 with Britney Jean, and fans are eager for her to come out with new music.
In a new interview with Billboard.com, the mother-of-two, who is keeping busy with her Las Vegas residency, reveals she is "gonna do a new album slowly but surely", but is taking her time to create the perfect record.
She says, "There's a lot going on with my kids and schools and, you know, adding new sports and stuff like that. I'm gonna try to do my best to do an amazing album, but it's not my full priority right now."
Spears' longtime manager, Larry Rudolph, adds, "Right now we're just concentrating on putting out a few great singles as they come... Albums just aren't as important in the digital age as they used to be. Britney will get to one eventually, but not right now."
Spears also revealed to Billboard that she is in talks with bosses at Planet Hollywood to extend her residency through until 2017. Her Piece of Me show is currently slated to end later this year (15).
